A Safer, Smarter, Greener Commute

Reduced train timetables and crowded, reduced public transport services during a return to work under social distancing are causing businesses to look elsewhere for transport solutions for their staff.

As the average commute in the UK is over 9 miles, this puts walking and cycling out or reach for many whilst limited and expensive parking can make the car an unattractive alternative.

We’re talking with companies about solutions that provide a safer, smarter commute for their staff which prioritises safety and minimises the risk of infection.

We’ve continued to work with Critical Worker companies at NHS call centres plus food and logistics including Morrisons and Amazon during the lockdown, updating and perfecting our services with processes and procedures to make this solution a reality, including:

Social Distancing
Contact Tracing
Vehicle Sanitising
Service Options

Social Distancing Throughout the Service

  • Providing larger vehicles than usually required to ensure safe distancing during travel
  • Seating plans to maintain distancing
  • Boarding and alighting procedures to protect passengers and our drivers, reducing the risk of transmission

Vehicle Disinfecting

All touch points on the vehicle are sanitised between journeys

Route Options

  • Multi-vehicle routes for increased capacity
  • Staggered shuttle services to match shift patterns or staggered start times

Contact Tracing

We recognise that there is a continued risk throughout the day of contracting the virus so our service can be enhanced with additional measures to protect others in instances of a confirmed case of the virus.

Our Kura app, designed specifically for Home to School and Commuter transport holds a secure record of everyone who travels and when, including staff and drivers, where they embarked and disembarked.

In the event of a confirmed case, the technology can generate a contact list of everyone who has travelled on the same service in a given timeframe – allowing businesses to ensure containment and reduce risks of an outbreak.
