Key Account & Event Manager (Corporate)


Employment type – Permanent
Location – Head Office Maidenhead, Berkshire / Home Working / with UK travel to meet clients as and when required Reporting line – Sales and Marketing Director
Salary and bonus dependent on experience

The Role


This role will be responsible for the development of key accounts within our corporate customer base. Also securing new event business and managing the sales, delivery and quality control of corporate events.

Key responsibilities include:

Key Account Management – activities to include:
o Hold strategic meetings with accounts to elevate partnership
o Identification of potential new opportunities within accounts
o Selling Kura product and services
o Pipeline management
o CRM administration (customer data maintenance)
o Contract administration including associated documents for the tender process

Event Sales – activites to include:
o Pricing transport requirements for events
o Closing new event business opportunities
o Managing the delivery of events and overseeing various activities associated with this
o Secure future events with customers
• Marketing activities to include:
o Support on campaign design, focus and implementation
o Proactive and regular reviews of marketing activity in terms of effectiveness and impact
• Internal liaison with the Operations Team – activities to include:
o Regular contact with the Operator Engagement team to ensure the successful placement of jobs
o Ongoing support for query resolution
• Any other duties as required from time to time

THE PERSON

Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience of working within the transport sector and has sales experience. Proven experience of account management is desirable as well as the ability to influence decision making at various levels of users and buyers. The candidate must show high levels of self motivation and a determination to succeed.

• Interest in, and be comfortable with, selling transport solutions
• Be happy to ‘get stuck in’ when required
