PwC, a global professional services business delivering assurance (audit), advisory and tax services, puts on a unique charitable theatrical production that aims to bring joy to children everywhere, in particular to children from inner-city schools and charities.
The Pantomime is an important part of the PwC in the Community programme in the UK. The aim is to bring joy to thousands of children, particularly to those from inner-city schools and charities, by giving them the chance to see a theatrical production at a professional theatre, and with aspirations to spark in them a life-long love of the performing arts. Tickets, goodie bags and transport are all provided to the groups attending. Moving thousands of children needs a reliable, friendly transport partner.
This year, due to COVID PwC were left without a transport supplier for a large number of groups at short notice. Enter Kura, who came to the rescue – from the first call PwC had with Michael Ashwell and the team at Kura, they were greatly reassured by his polite and friendly manner. In the week leading up to the event Michael kept in regular contact with the PwC team, using a detailed spreadsheet to update them on pick-up times, driver names and contact numbers, which was a great help every evening. Plus, the morning after every performance, Michael rang PwC to check everything had gone smoothly and record any learnings – much appreciated by the team.
